Patients are able to book an appointment by telephone on 01256 479244, or online using Patient Access (having registered with the practice), or through the eConsult system. The eConsult link can be found by clicking the banner below.  

In many cases, we are able to meet your needs with a telephone consultation or via the eConsult system.  When a face to face appointment is necessary, you will be invited to come to our Reading Road practice.

Note that all telephone calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes.

The eConsult can be used to request an appointment, to deal with administrative matters such as asick note or getting results and to learn more about managing your own health.  You will be contacted within 2 working days of submitting the form.  In the unusual case that you do not get a response within 2 working days of submitting your eConsult, please call the practice so that we can ensure that your inquiry is quickly addressed.

Using eConsult allows you to specify the doctor or clinician you have been seeing.  It can therefore provide better continuity of care as your query can be directed back to that member of the team.

In a survey of 156 patients who used eConsult in 2020, 83% were either very (67%) or fairly (16%) satisfied.  Please give it a try as you may find it more convenient than phoning the practice.
